
Symphoni Wiggins/Studio Owner & Artistic Director

Symphoni is from Augusta, Georgia where she attended the Academy of Richmond County High School and graduated in 2007. Upon Graduation she attended Hollins University in Roanoke VA on a full dance scholarship and obtained her BA in Dance with a minor in Communications. Symphoni trained in the disciplines of Ballet, Tap, African, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern and Majorette and has over 25 years of dance experience. She has been a scholarship recipient at American Dance Festival at Duke University and the New Orleans Jazz Dance Festival at Tulane University multiple times. Symphoni has performed extensively, locally, regionally and nationally as well as abroad during her dance career. She began teaching at age 14 and never looked back. Symphoni is a gifted performer; however, her real passion is teaching. It is a God given gift which she holds dear to her heart. She loves to teach dance as she feels that this is one way she can inspire young people through her art by sharing with them as a healthy way to express themselves. A Creative Symphoni Dance Studio is in the 9th Season.

Denise Tucker (Assistant Artistic Director/Office Administrator)
Denise Tucker is a retired dancer. For over 30 years she studied the disciplines of Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern Dance and was a jumps and leaps coach in her early 20s. Denise has worked in dance administration for well over 20 years as well as owned her own business for 9 years. If there is one thing she is passionate about is dance. Denise teaches ballet to ages 5-8 and has a special gift building discipline and poise in young dancers. When you visit ACS, Denise is the face you will see behind the desk at the studio. She is the primary studio contact and the person who can give your child a band-aid or water when needed. She is also the Mother of the studio owner Symphoni!

Candis McFalls (Ballet II & III, Adult Classes)
Candis has been a part of the Augusta dance community since she began ballet classes with The Family Y at 6 years old. From her foundation in ballet, she moved into jazz and modern dance at Davidson and Cutno Dance throughout middle school and high school. Departing from Augusta, GA to pursue college at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville her dance career continued to grow. She has participated in college performances, step shows, ballroom dance performances, and NBA dance with the Memphis Grizzlies. For Candis dance is all about expression with a foundation in technique. She tells all her students that when they dance, they should feel empowered and free because dance is for every body.

Whitney (BeBee) Ledger (Open Jazz, Tap I, II & III)
Bebee is a former dancer continuing in the industry by teaching. She has danced with several studios and the Georgia College Dance Program. As a dance teacher she hopes to create dancers that have a drive and passion for dance as she does . Her favorite genre of dance is Jazz but she adores teaching tap as well. Outside of dance, she is a photographer/influencer. She spends her spare time creating content for her personal brand and shooting with a variety of people and subjects. Busy busy bee! This is BeBee’s 3rd Season with ACS. At ACS she has taught Ballet, Tap, Open Jazz & Contemporary and choreographed for our technical competition team.

Daphne Curry (Hip Hop Competition Coach/Choreographer)
Daphne began dancing at age three, because she just would not sit still. She began studying seriously around age 5 at Augusta West Dance Studio and shortly after Cutno Dance Studio until age 16 where she trained in in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and African. In conjunction with that, she attended John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School in Augusta, Georgia and studied dance there as well. Upon graduation from DFA, Daphne continued her dance career and expanded into teaching dance throughout Georgia. Daphne has been the Hip Hop Coach/Choreographer for ACS for 4 Seasons. She’s tough, but the dancers LOVE her and her infectious energy. We are excited to welcome Daphne back this season!
